Lg has recently announced that at next month's Consumer Electronics Show, It will put Google's Chrome OS into a desktop computer monitor. Chrome OS which has appeared mostly on laptop will now be seen first time on a desktop.
According to the spec sheet, it will have a 21.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD that hides an Intel Celeron CPU, 2GB of RAM and a 16GB SSD inside, along with an assortment of ports (including HDMI-in so you can use it as a monitor) in the back and on the sides.
LG doesn't say when we can expect the Chromebase to arrive or how much it will cost, but we'll be sure to check it out next month.
